Our annual 5th Grade End of Year Trip is an epic send off for all of our Stewart Stars wrapping up their elementary careers. The Stewart PTO is proud to sponsor and help coordinate this event every year with the help of our incredible 5th grade team, parents, volunteers, and donors.
Want to chaperone on this trip? We'd love to have you! Level 2 clearance is required for all chaperones. If you plan to attend and are not a Level 2 (background checked) volunteer with the Manatee County School District, please visit our FAQ section below to learn more and get started on the process as soon as possible.
Every student must have a registration form completed to attend. The form includes important information for your 5th grader as well as the option to attend as a chaperone.

Get ready for big thrills and wild moments...roller coasters, amazing animals, and live shows all in one unforgettable day.

Meet up witht the 5th grade crew in the air-conditioned Treetop Kitchen overlooking the Seregetti for a private lunch buffet (chaperones included).

A one-of-a-kind trip shirt is coming - stay tuned for the reveal!
Be sure to select your student’s size during registration.

All abord! Students will experience the trip to Tampa together on a private charter bus. Chaperones must ride separately.
evel 2 clearance from the School DIstrict is required for all chaperones to attend this field trip. We recommend obtaining your clearance as soon as possible, as delays have been reported in this process. Please note the School District charges a $90 fee for the application, so be prepared.

The lunch buffet will be covered for all chaperones, but park admission and transportation must be secured separately if you plan to join the trip.
Yes - chaperones will need to purchase admission to the park on their own.
When you complete your registration form, you'll be asked if your student holds an annual pass. Please check to ensure that the pass will be valid on the date of our trip (Wednesday, May 20). That will help us determine the final head count for purchasing student admission...and helps our PTO budget, too!
Unforutnately, chaperones are unable to ride the bus with students and will need to secure their own transportation to and from the park.
To maintain head counts and ensure all of our 5th grade students have proper oversight, siblings are unable to attend this trip.
Yes, students should be dropped off at school at the regular time. Teachers will coordinate and monitor students for the bus trip.
We plan to meet at the entrance of Busch Gardens promptly at 9:45AM. This will allow time to break up into chaperone groups, grab a quick group photo, and be ready to hit the park when the gates open at 10AM!
Not for this trip! All chaperones are welcome to meet us at Busch Gardens, but pre-registration is required to allow us to designate chaperones assignment in advance.
Yes! We will send at least one reminder email to you before the event with important updates. Updates will be sent to the email you use on your registration form.
You can contact your student's teacher or use our contact form below to get in touch with more questions.
