Our school's class auction baskets are a huge part of our annual auction, helping us raise thousands of dollars to support Stewart Elementary’s children, teachers, and families. 100% of the proceeds from your contribution directly benefit your student and our school community. Learn how your class can show support and participate below!
Designate someone in your classroom to oversee the coordination of your basket and sign up for a theme by March 12, 2025. This is on a first come, first serve basis...so snag your theme quick!
Get creative! We're looking for all types of donations and basket values. Collaborate with your class parents, community connections, etc. Anything exciting and valuable makes a difference! View our FAQ section below for more info.
Once you've completed your basket, use the link below to register it before drop off. This is where you'll let us know the official basket name, what's in it, the value, etc. This step is incredibly helpful for our auction team to get prepared to list your item and make sure your class gets all the credit!
To streamline the collection process, our volunteers will be available on the following dates/times to provide a seamless drop off. You can drop on any of the following designated days:
Not at all! We’re looking for all kinds of baskets to fit all kinds of budgets. Our auction is all about variety, so whether your class puts together a thoughtfully curated smaller basket or a big-ticket showstopper, it all makes a difference! Every donation helps us raise funds for our school, and we love giving bidders options that work for every wallet size.
Absolutely! We've had some awesome donations in the past in our class baskets - everything from new tires and summer camp vouchers, to pirate boat adventures and sports tickets. If you have a great connection, we highly recomend reaching out to partner with them!
Nope! If you have a creative idea, go for it! As long as everything is bundled together nicely for easy transport, you’re welcome to craft a masterpiece of your choosing. Think cool containers, fun totes, decorative crates—whatever makes your donation stand out and shine!
We have some cleaver parents that have figured out great ways to streamline collections of items. The following is not an all inclusive list, and we encourage you to choose what works best for your preferences...but here are a just a couple of ideas:
To avoid clutter in the school office, we are no longer having parents drop baskets in the office with school staff. Instead, we've designated mutliple days and times for drop off so our PTO event team can be available outside the school for basket collections. If none of these dates work for you, let us know when you register your basket and our event team will contact you to coordinate another option.
Choosing a theme from our predetermined list not only helps our parents with ideas, but more imporantly, it ensures we don't have repeated themes, which can get confusing for bidding and distributing baskets to our winners at the end of the night. That being said, if you have a certain theme that you're dead set on, you can reach out to PTO Board Member Christine Ward at chrisronanward@gmail.com
